Volunteers for solved 60 dilemmas previously used by Greene et al 2004 while his/her EEG was registered. Such dilemmas have the following structure: a proposition P 1 introduces an utilitarian action; a proposition P 2 describes an impersonal or social-emotional action, and a question Q establishes the conflict asking to the individual to decide whether P2 is appropriate or not to solve the problem introduced by P1 . The dilemmas were translated to Portuguese by one of the authors, having a degree on Linguistics.
